![]() Where I set an abnormally low tax rate, but don't feed the station myself. I should be able to open a self-serve crafting station. The entire mechanic is also anti-competitive. So if it is a concern you can check yourself. Food is also viewable by hovering over the station on the local map. The way it works is bad for plot owners and bad for consumers. 10% food is enough for quite a few normal users to do a good deal of crafting. Simply because the game tells the other players that the station I am about to use isn't "operational" enough. ![]() I find myself constantly walking past a crowded station, with a higher rate, as I go to the same station close by. It punishes players who trust the local map display to give them the information they need to make a good choice. This only benefits other plot owners whose stations have more food. Currently, a perfectly functional and relatively well fed (10% Food Supply makes quite a few metal bars or sets of armor) will be grayed out on the local map if it doesn't have enough food. But, I think that the negative consequences outweigh the positive with this. You are trying to force plot owners to keep their station fed, OR ELSE. I can sort of understand why the food supply mechanic works the way it does. ![]() I would also like SBI to change it so that Crafting Capacity does gray out a plot on the local map, when it is below a certain threshold. TLDR: I want SBI to change the mechanic for Food Supply, so that it no longer grays out the plot on the local map and no longer triggers increased durability loss.
